So, if you get arrested and then you bail out, the bail slip that you're given should show which court you're going to have to appear in. It won't be Malibu court despite the fact that there used to be a courthouse in that city.
Sometimes, you can also get a citation from the police if they don't arrest you, especially now during the coronavirus, it's very rare that they're actually arresting and holding people because they don't want them to have to go into custody, but the citation will show which court you have to appear.
