Virginia Valdez ,69, from Palm Springs woman was accused of attempting to cut off her husband's penis with a pair of large scissors. She failed to get the job done but caused treatable injuries to her husband's genital area.
The couple had been married for 32 years and the actual cause of the dispute remains unknown.
Valdez was charged with mayhem, assault with a deadly weapon and felony
domestic violence. She was released Sunday December 4, 2011 on $100,000 bond and faces a court hearing next month.

| Mother and her boyfriend arrested on suspicion of murder of two year old son |

A 2 year old boy was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital, after his mother claimed he slipped in the bath. According to a statement from the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, the child had several bruises and burns that were inconsistent with the mother's story.
Jennifer Zolozano,19, and her boyfriend, Joe Hickman, 21, were arrested early Saturday morning on suspicion of murder.
When questioned by investigators, Zolozano and Hickman allegedly admitted to beating the child. They are being held Monday on $1 million bail each on suspicion of beating the woman's 2 year-old son to death, sheriff's officials said.

| Michael Lohan Arrested on Suspicion of Felony Charges |

Michael Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's father, is facing multiple felony charges involving a domestic dispute. According to Steve Whitmore, spokesperson for the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, he was arrested on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on cohabitant, false imprisonment, and preventing a report of victimization. As of Tuesday, the L.A. County district attorney's office had not yet filed charges.
Sheriff's were called to the scene at about 9 p.m. Lohan was found walking on the street and arrested. After being booked , he was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after complaining of "a medical condition not related to the incident," said a sheriff's official in a statement. His bail was set at $200,000.
