Cyclists Hit by Teenage Driver; Father and Daughter Killed

A 17 year old driver driving a Cadillac Escalade was driving dangerously on the morning of Saturday April 7, 2012 when he crashed into a car changing lanes in front him.
The driver then rammed his truck into a family on bicycles on the sidewalk.
Authorities showed up shortly and found that 41 year old man was pronounced dead and his 9 year old daughter pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
The older sister also riding the bike suffered minor injuries.
The 17-year-old driver was treated for minor injuries at the hospital and then arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter.
The 17 year old may be charges as an adult.
There was no evidence of alcohol but there may be evidence of cell phone use.
