Search for Gunman on CSUN Campus Continues
|
Cal State University Northridge sent an emergency alert to students and faculty after receiving reports of a gunman on campus. School officials received a report about 10:30 a.m., and the library was evacuated as school police began searching for the man.
The suspect is described as white, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with short spikey hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt which read "human rights violation."
According to reports, someone approached the man, who appeared to be "in distress", and asked if he was OK. At that moment the man indicated he had a weapon, but no weapon was seen.
Police are still searching for the suspect and are asking anyone with information to contact campus police.
