Vehicle Burglaries Are On the Rise

According to the Torrance police department, vehicle burglaries are on the rise. The majority of vehicle burglaries happen between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. in apartment complexes and single family resident neighborhoods. To prevent vehicle burglaries, the Manhattan Beach Police Department suggests residents to keep all car doors and windows closed and locked, to not leave valuables or packages in plain sight in your vehicle, and park in an area that is visible to the public and well lit at night.
